Hello All:

I was shutting down my computer (Windows 10) yesterday and inadvertently
shut the main room power switch in the shack off before the computer had
finished shutting down. When I started the computer this morning and opened
DXBase 2007 V1.10, the windows were all blank, similar to the problem that
John had the other day. I was able to restore everything from a recent
backup, and now all of the windows are full and it seems to be working as it
should. However, when I go to shut it down, I get the error message,
"Encountered an improper argument" and the program will not shut down. I
have to do a "restart" to shut it down.

I think I remember reading about this problem some time ago and I think it
had something to do with the file register. But I can't find the
information.

Does anyone know what the solution for this problem is?

Thanks for your help!

Mark, K7HPH
