Mark, Close DXbase2007 ..
Go to the Windows directory and RENAME the following file to something different Dxb2007.ini Once you rename the file - open up DXbase2007 again and this time it will come up LOOKING LIKE a NEW install .. we are only making a new Dxb2007.ini file ... Once you go thru the making the new ini file -- OPEN DXbase2007 and you should be all ok ... When I started the computer this morning and opened DXBase 2007 V1.10, the windows were all blank, similar to the problem that John had the other day. I was able to restore everything from a recent backup, and now all of the windows are full and it seems to be working as it should. However, when I go to shut it down, I get the error message, "Encountered an improper argument" and the program will not shut down. I have to do a "restart" to shut it down. I think I remember reading about this problem some time ago and I think it had something to do with the file register. But I can't find the information. Does anyone know what the solution for this problem is? Thanks for your help!
