correct. the is.def was created for code that acts the same in dom (mozilla)
and ie5.. if ie5 does not work the same, it should not use the is.def
property.
is.def should be used only when the code works in:
mozilla
netscape6
ie5
ie55
ie6
those are default used browsers, and usually share the same code, hence the
is.def property
