Personally I'm always for simple solutions. I've never used any of the animation code nor do I know how it is done. If I can slide a layer with two lines of code no way I consider including all the animation extensions. I think ( I may be wrong ) that all this Thread and motion extensions were done when we had memory leaks and we suspected that having several intervals running simultanously was one of the causes. Now those were solved.
