Well, I did ponder about this before, coming to the conclution its more trouble than its worth to do a full integration of server-side with DynAPi rather than just use DynAPI alongside server-side implementations.
I did however show in a rater simple example how you can use loadpanel and set the source to a server-side script with custom output via the get method, virtually no loading (at least not reloading) process. It reimplemented the same method Dan's dynapi 1 sever communication widget did and required the get method rather than post. Its no good for secure transfers, but nor is javascript being a clientside script language, so it fits into it, don't you think? Anyway just go look at http://www.your-site.com/~rinfo//examples/Henrik_Vaglin_Examples/form_submitting.html (Richard compiled and put it up from my rather long previous outline of it) and look a my example if you think it'll be of any use! I could explain it in more detail to you (unless you look it up in the archives, which I think everyone prefer), but its really simple, so you probably don't need to get me rambeling about it ;) Henrik Våglin [ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Aborg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2001 5:20 PM Subject: [Dynapi-Dev] Server-side pages in DynAPI widgets? > Hi! > > What's the current status on using server-side resources in DynAPI > widgets?
