treewidget example
Hi,
Well I was
intending on getting an early nights sleep but as you put it that way I
couldn’t rest until I tried it,
Check under Richard_Examples
here.
It has 508 nodes if I counted
well, and as you can see in the last node, they can contain any html content
even pictures or whatever,
The principle is very simple, a
node which has no childnodes checks its own content height, and resizes itself
if necessary,
so if you add
hyperlinks terminated with <br>, the childnode enlarges to display the
different rows of links,
thus 100 links be
contained in one DynLayer.(the events layer is removed to
allow clicking on the links).
I’ll add a page of explanation
and download links to the examples when I get the chance.
To do: I want to make an open
node close when another node is opened, and maybe let all nodes check
content height+ resize, so titles
can also be more than one row.
Cheers,
Richard

Looks good, tho I find myself wandering just
how fast it would be
with the 300+ nodes required for the client's
catalog..

Subject: [Dynapi-Help] new fast
treewidget example
hi,
I think it was Doug Melvin asking about
faster tree widgets a while back, I've got an example up and
running now, it's a modified Dynacore
skinTreeNode. Have a look here:
This is just a temporary test site while I
get my homepage up. The tree widget is populated by a php
script
which checks the contents of a few
directories on the server, and returns clickable links to popup
windows.
This is going to be used on the DynAPI
section of my site, to show examples of widgets.
I will include all the example files of all
the widgets etc which are available for the DynAPI2.
If anyone has any working widgets (with
example if possible) feel free to mail me them so I can include them later
on.
At the moment I'm running the snapshot
version from three days ago.
If anyone needs the tree widget let me know,
I'll post it with the details.
Cheers,
Richard :o
