Another thought.. Cookies are not totally permanent, (I manually delete mine often) Also, the user would only see the customized site on the ONE machine, as well, if your kid brother moved everything around, the next time you whent to the site you would find it all 'messed up'.. solution? Profiles.. eg: "Want to make your changes to my site permanent?
