I am also having problems with the List widget under IE5.5 (Win).
I am actually using the original dynlayer API in an older application.
It is not a real option to switch to the latest API.
My problem is that the selectable list elements generate MouseOut events
when the pointer is moved over the text within the list elements (divs).
This prevents the element from being selected. After some debugging, it
appears that the text between the div tags is somehow getting an
onMouseOver event, which causes the div to get an onMouseOut event.
The problem is easily viewed in the List Widget at:

[Again, to see the problem, you must use IE5.5 and move the mouse over the
text in the selection items.]
I've tried to play around with the z-index of the div, but that doesn't
seem to help.
Any clues as to what I might try are appreciated. Thanks.
