To get it started I would be updating about once a week. I would like
to maintain a matrix for the current unpatched release version (that's
easy) and another matrix for the current build (tad more work). I am
very interested in allowing the ability for feedback/comments from users
on an example by example basis. Someone else here mentioned having
something similar to the PHP docs. In their docs the reader can provide
feedback/comments.
I am going to work on this over the weekend. I should have some kind of
prototype for people to look at early next week. I am going to start
with a few of the basic examples first.
Here's the list of browsers that I will include on the matrix...
Win:
IE 4.01, 5.0, 5.5
NS 4.72, 4.75, 6
Mac:
IE 4.5, 5.0
NS 4.76, 6
Linux:
NS 4.?, 6 (not in front of the machine atm, dunno the 4 minor
version)
I will add Opera if there is a request for it but I am not personally
even close to interested in this browser. I can add other browser
versions as needed as far as the PC goes, for the mac it will be a
little more difficult as I only have the one to test on.
Oops, got a little long winded there...

Sounds great. How often would this be updated? I ask because
with the a snapshot
created daily and code changin by the minute, it would be great
to know when a
feature became broken / fixed.
This would all for fututre monitoring of code to reduce the
creation of similar
mistakes.
