I'm fully aware of your contributions since last August, I was here to.
But to make a statement like this...

leads one to ponder is all.
I think we all owe this group pretty solid allegiance and shouldn't place
new ideas on a platter of "welcome them with open arms or... ". Especially
before anyone has even seen the new code.
My first post was just an observation and my perspective related to further
diluting the distribution base of this API, whether sponsored by you or
anyone else.
