Yes that's correct, I lifted this from Dan's dynduo tutorial:

ns4 = (document.layers)? true:false
ie4 = (document.all)? true:false

winW = (ns4)? window.innerWidth-16 : document.body.offsetWidth-20
winH = (ns4)? window.innerHeight : document.body.offsetHeight
