I just updated the example I posted about scrollbars:

now it includes the two methods of getting the width.
If you maximize the two browsers (IE&NS4), both show the same value,
regardless of whether or not the scrollbars are shown with Dan's method.
With DynAPI.document.getWidth the values are different.
It also includes a way of testing if scrollbars are visible or not in both
browsers, this test could be used to modify the DynAPI.document.getWidth
result, depending on whether scrollbars are shown or not.
