This example:
http://www.resass.f2s.com/dynapi/Dan_Steinman_Examples/dynapi.gui.list.html
shows how to get the index of what was selected, you could have an event
listener listen for onmouseup of the complete list, and then get the index
of the selected option.
I'm not sure if there are any custom events triggered.
