Maybe this has already been suggested but have you considered using server-side code to put the dynapi files straight into the main page code?   I don't know if that's possible and it would mean downloading the code everytime - but then the javascript could be compressed as well.   In my experiences with gzipping pages, my 60K pages went down to 10K.   Just a thought.   Jordan
