I'm doing my first DynAPI project and have run into a problem. Overall, the
API has been very nice to work with. However, I can't figure out why one of
my layers won't appear in NS6.01.

First of all, take a look at this URL in IE5.5:
http://servlets.servlets.net/newsite/

The only DynAPI thing on the page at this time is the "Account Login" tab on
the top right of the page. If you roll your mouse over the curved button, a
pop-out layer should appear that has a form with two text fields in it. You
can make the layer disappear by clicking the "Account Login" tab.

Everything works nicely in IE5.5. You can even resize the window and the
tabs/layers automatically move to stay in view.

However, in NS6.01, only the "Account Login" tab can be seen. The rest of
the layer is see through. If you click in the area the layer would be, you
can see that you are getting a flashing cursor in one of the text boxes. So
the layer is there. It is just not visible. I've done some testing and
DynAPI thinks that the layer IS visible even though it is not.

It appears that none of this works in Opera 5, but I'm not so concerned
about it. I haven't tested any browsers other than IE5.5, NS6.01, and Opera
5 on Windows 2000.

Note that this site is currently in development, so none of the links from
this page or content on the page is necessarily accurate. Also, the dynamic
hierarchical menus were made with HeirMenus
(http://www.webreference.com/dhtml/hiermenus/), not DynAPI.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, please let me know!

Thanks,
Tauren
