I have a problem w/child content being larger (height) than the parent layer and the master browser scroll bars showing the childs height.
ie. Parent layer of size 100x200. Then a variable content child is added and its content height happens to be 300. Now the parents visual area is still in effect and works fine (only see 100x200). But the browser seems to want to add the childs hieght to the master scroll bars. So if the the browser say could only display a height of 250, then when the child of height 300 was created, the master scroll bars would show a scroll size of 300 rather than the actual viewing size of 200. I've seen this on IE5.0 and NS6.2. Both do the same thing. I'm using DynAPI 2.9. But I think I was having this problem on 2.5.6 as well. Is there just some trick I need to play? I tried changing the childs height accordingly, but it didn't help. I messed w/the childs clipping box as well w/out any effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Bruce ps. If my prob is unclear, I think I can hack together a simple example. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE Valentine eCards with Yahoo!
