I have layer A, which has an iframe on it. I don't want people to be able to click on the website in the iframe at certain times, so I need to make a clear cover layer over it. To do this, I added layer B as a child of A, and it covers it completely.
In Mozilla - works great, you can see the page in the iframe, but nothing is clickable.
Here's the problem:
In IE - if I make the cover layer a color, then I only see the color, and I can't click anything that it's covering, even when I click where a link would normally be on the page below, so far so good. But when I change the color of the cover layer to "transparent", then it's like it's not there. I can click right through it to the page below.
Any ideas how to make a clear cover layer in IE? Or is there someway to make an iframe "view only" ?
Thanks in advance for the suggestions, Jesse
