HOW? E doesn't know u need them UNTIL u switch - it can't predict that
- so for cleanliness E wont show the desktop until it has a bg
(otherwise the bg will lag and show up later) and 2. why threads? Imlib
is not thread safe so forget it :)

E 0.14 already has that - prolyl more complex than you think. It wil
unload bits of windowboareds "on the flay" if they dont get used for a
while, same with backgrounds - it onyl keeps what data it really needs
around - what is not needes is expunged. It takes a guess at what's
needed at how recently somehtgn has been used.. if it hasn't ben used
for a while then it assumes u don't need it (well won't for a while)
then throws it out only retrieveing it when it really needs it again.
