S3-968 is good. - a bit old and cheap tho.
Millanium and MillaniumII's are good. mind u xfree is part of the
problem too. investing in somehtng like accelx will - if you listen to
some tesimonials, give dramatic speedups in some cases. There are
student prices available for AccelX. Try the demo out at any rate.. if
ti doesnt give u a speedup no need to run it - try this before changing
vid cards.. it may give u the best bang for your buck int he long run
(ie if u then later get a better vid card - u aleradyhave the software
to work on it optimally)
