Hello all from a long-time lurker,
I've sold over 100 items on eBay over the last 6 months. I've prominently
displayed the e-gold payment option in each auction listing, along with
Billpoint, PayPal and a couple of PayPal clones. I've yet to have a single
customer pay for an auction via e-gold or even ask what it's all about.
A sure-fire but expensive method to get e-gold more widely accepted is the
PayPal model: offer a $5 sign up bonus for new accounts, as well as $5 to
the referrer.
