The part about freezing everyone's account is the real problem. When they
froze my account they refused even to say why it had been frozen (it was
frozen at a time when I had not had a single transaction in many weeks and
therefore had no transactions to dispute, but when I wanted to withdraw
funds it suddenly became a "disputed" account). After a couple of days I
received a message saying that the "dispute" had been resolved--but not
saying what the imaginary dispute was--and that my account was unfrozen.
The mind boggles.
PayPal can get away with this because, well, uh, I have no idea why they
can get away with this. It lost them my business, but obviously other
people still use them.
If E-Gold couldn't really make good on its obligations and randomly froze
accounts to hide the fact they'd go belly-up in no time. Maybe E-Golders
are just smarter!
Now what's this about how to improve my sex life?

The only way they can do that is because they earn interest on the float,
not to mention freezing everyone's account so they can't withdraw anything.
e-gold doesn't earn interest on anything. The only profit e-gold makes is
selling the gold for more than they buy it, and a small storage fee.
