However, the issue is similarity and intent of usage of trademark. You are
attempting to run a run business called "egold-xchange" which will buy &
sell "e-gold". This is not looked upon favorably by the US legal system.

It is for the same reason that I cannot start a company called "Micro-soft
Distributor" and sell "Microsoft" products.
