They are businessmen. They will sell what their customers want to buy.
However, it is interesting when they complain about e-gold being used for
HYIPS/scams/etc... and then buy/sell OSgold.

How many of the other GBCs run, or even endorse, guaranteed investment
plans? Until OSOpps actually launches (they are still in their 2nd
pre-launch phase), they are nothing more than a simple pyramid scheme.
"Pay $85 to enter and then we will pay you $15 for every person you
refer". This EGBC (ether GBC) has probably gained the vast majority of
it's membership from HYIP runners and seekers, becuase that is who they
were promoting themselves to. Besides, the scammers don't care if the
currency they use is stable (after all, they aren't), gold-backed,
redeemable, etc... Hardly any of them even get the concept of weight-based
holdings.

However, this is still the **e-gold** list.

'Tortoise and the Hare'...

They've done pretty well without a full-force marketing dept.

They still seem to be the most widely used and accepted of all the GBCs to
me.

> Standard Reserve has a debit card attached to their accounts

Only to the SR-USD part of the account, not the SR-AUG part.

SR charges some pretty high fees for the debit card and for account
holding/maintenance. Their accounts are good for quick&inexpensive
international money transfers, but not so practical for normal day-to-day
usage.

e-bullion hasn't posted the vital stats on their cards yet, but their
transaction fees seem pretty steep (1 flat fee equiv. to e-gold's maximum
fee for all transactions).

> I personally have promoted the hell out of e-gold.

And have started to pretty much dis-promote it lately. Given your last few
posts, you seem to be increasingly belligerent towards e-gold.

And OSGold is any better? e-gold has the lion's share of the scams in the
gold economy because they have the lion's share of the gold economy. It's
that simple. We had all wished that the scammers would all vacate for
OSGold (who seems to want them), but it hasn't happened. The scams will
not just simply 'go away'. They are a part of human nature. They were here
long before e-gold and will continue to be around until the end of time.
However, there are also many legitimate users & merchants.
