Quite! >I'm on >her side, JP. Nancy Oden appears to have been banned from the airplane by >personal discrimination against her political views -- Well firstly, if you read the instapundit.com commentary, the story is nutty for many reasons. Secondly, she's an _environmentalist_, i.e. the enemy. The sole openly declared terrosist group in the USA is an environmentalist group. Thirdly, > not because she was a >threat to the flight's safety. we tend to have a "racial profiling!" mentality. YES, it's bad if cops pull over people because they're black. But NO, it's not bad if during wartime someone who there is even a slight chance that they are about to blow up a plane or commit some other act of war is detained, searched, etc etc. the cops, the airline, or relevant authorities at the gate should stop ANYONE they vaguely want to from getting on a plane man! I would think it was quite reasonable if I was stopped, say (foreigner, frequently travels to unusual places, whatever). That would be good. > >SnowDog JP! http://www.capitalismmagazine.com/2001/september/jl_why_us_atacked.htm http://www.capitalismmagazine.com/2001/september/jl_nihilism.htm --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Did you know that e-metal is a wonderful holiday gift?
