Gold lists readers, I wanted the stupid episode started last week to end and let everybody to get over with the paranoia from this individual, so after my only post the other day, I kept quite.
But now this individual starts again, attacking me personally with NO REASON (other than his own incompetence), so I have to respond again, in spite of the fact that Frank, from EuroGoldLine, specifically asked me NOT to post this ... To conclude : As there are no other dates available it raises the question of any validity to his claim. A further question is, if Mr. Kelly has protection of the name beyond the registered domain, why hasn't he presented it? Who had been blatantly copying an existing name ??? Did Pepsi Cola have to chenge their name because there was "Cola" in Coca Cola (whis was an Internationaly registered Trade mark) ? NO ! Is "Gold" a "public domain" word ? Yes Is "Now" a "public domain" word ? Yes Is "Any" a public domain word ? You bet ! Is the "goldow" combination of words protected by any kind of registered trade mark ? No Did I properly register "AnyGoldNow" (and was accepted as such) ? Yes Did ANY DGCs object to that name registration ? No Does Kelly mind other people using the "goldnow" combination of words ? Obviously not, when other people have the EXACT SAME NAME (goldnow.com) are not his competitors ! Ha-haaaa ! Now I get it ! This nut is in fact going through the roof because he now is going to have to live with a new competitor (who happens to own a domain name more explicit than his own) This man is completely NUTS As a matter of fact, should he not be completely and publicly thrown out of eCTA altogether, I will NOT join that association. Indeed, I do not wish to be associated in ANY way with this kind of unprofessional individual (even less so with one of its founding members). This is obviously no threat to anyone, particularly that (so far) respectable association - eCTA -, but it just a matter of principle for me : I have been conducting business all my life, for the last 30 years, in all kinds of areas throughout the world (Tourism, Publishing, Hotel Business, etc), and have had up to 150 employees for a 5 hotel chain I had set-up from scratch in Tahiti, French Polynesia. I have been involved with many Trade organizations / associations before, including, among other things, being (elected by pairs) VP of the Tahiti Tourist Board for 2 years So I very well know about Trade associations, memberships, codes of conduct, ethics, rules, etc, etc. In my experienced opinion, this (brand new) Gold industry has an incredibly bright future ahead of itself, providing things are taken care of the way they SHOULD be. Therefore, in order to let this industry mature as it must and get the right public awareness / image it deserves, there should be no room left available for unprofessional individuals or organizations within that industry. The contrary would absolutely disastrous, particularly in the light of existing / raising pressure from the "established" banking system against the Gold industry CONCEPT as a whole, seen of course as a potentially devastating competitor payment systems to the existing one organized by banks over decades if not centuries now. For those reasons, - and for many others that would take too long to develop here -, this industry should make sure its image is protected and such unprofessional / unethical / grossly inappropriate manners be severely answered to. Kelly sent mails to e-gold DDU, asking them to shut down my accounts ! (copies available to interrested parties) Maybe he gave them (and other DGCs) an idea as to what should be done about HIS own accounts... I'll conclude with this : In French, they say : �Les chiens aboient, la caravanne passe�, which stands for : �Dogs Bark, but the Caravan keeps going its way, anyway� It would really be a pity for the (Gold industry) caravan to be harmed by such unprofessional and inadmissible conduct at this - still - early stage of its existence. As for mine, don't worry : Among other things, I was a Sahara guide in my early years in the Tourism Industry, so I know how to handle / protect / conduct my own caravan. In other words, this guy can keep barking / screaming / complaining / going "public" about me and my business, that won't keep me from going ahead with conducting that business, in a professional, efficient and most of all SUCCESSFUL manner, as I have always conducted my businesses in the past (By the way, thanks for the free publicity, Mister "smart" !) Also, you guys should tell this man Kelly to change his PI : I'm NOT even French !!! (How stupid / ignorant can you be, huh ?)
