Agreed... > Hey, they did that with Costagold (and) do it with other HYIP's, WHY or > didn't they do this with OSpyrite (which is a HYIP also)?? EEBiz Ventures is another HUGE fraud that everyone seems to forget. EEBiz Ventures went through 8.5 million dollars USD worth of e-gold and the owners did absolutely nothing to stop it or warn the account holders of the activity. 8.5 million is quite a bit of dough... the largest e-gold using scam to date. > They fact that this wasn't done should raise some serious questions about > the relations between the Two entities or questions about the > competence of > E-Gold's management? There is an online article at Business Week's website that deals with e-gold and how the author felt that e-gold would be nothing more than a vehicle for money laundering. Hmmm, that was 2 years ago when the article was written. Look at it now... scams rules the scene and draw in huge revenues. The federal agencies will not allow this kind of activity for very long before they roll in and crack the whip. > I notice that some other GBC's actually make an effort to distance > themselves from operations like OSpyrite, E-gold hasn't, at least not > publicly (where it counts). IMHO, I believe that if e-gold did do this, that they would no longer be the biggest and most popular DGC in the world. Unfortunate as it may be, the scams and frauds are where the money is at... oh, and the exchanges. As far as I can tell, the actual merchants aren't really making all that much money. I've seen dozens of sites drop the e-gold option over the last few months. I wonder why? Maybe PayPal disliked e-gold exchanges through their system for this very reason? Who knows... who cares... I know I haven't used my e-gold account in a while now. There's nothing I wish to purchase with it. I was using it to participate with Xodds, until I found out that it's illegal for me to do so... or any other American for that matter. GoldMoney is looking better and better all the time. I'll sit back and watch... the fireworks that blow when the feds intervene will be bigger than the 4th of July. Hmmm...
