> Dear Ian Green (an alias ? :-)

Why do you think it is an alias. It took me five seconds to his business
name and address, and his residential address and phone number. It is your
group who doesn't identify themselves.

You should care. In your country, do they use the expression "you catch
more flies with honey than with vinegar"? If not, perhaps you could go
look it up. Hopefully it doesn't lose any of it's meaning when translated
into whatever language you natively speak.

You know that you have to be real careful about what you post to public
forums like this. You never know who is watching. If OSGold employees are
harmed, or their bank accounts robbed, you've suspect number one, and the
people who profit from these actions, the poor OSGold customers, have
received proceeds of a criminal activity. It sounds crazy when you think
that it's your own money that is being stolen back, but I felt the same
way when my Standard Transactions money disappeared. There were plenty of
ways I could have recovered money for myself and others, but they were
illegal. As cool as it sounds to steal back what is owed to you, it's only
going to result in some guy named Bubba stealing your anal virginity in
prison.

Ah, smells like the old Nigerian scam. You pay upfront for them to steal
your money back, which they have pretty much said is easy, then they keep
50% of 80%. At least they accept OSGold which only makes matters more
confusing.

I'd say people who think these people are serious, pay them in OSGold. If
it goes down, at least you paid them in monopoly money.

Still, am I the only one who questions the need to get 5% up front?

I think you'll find that what has been used is not so much sarcasm as it
fair and reasonable questioning given the circumstances.

What you plan to do, if in fact you DO plan on recovering funds for
people, will involve criminal acts but will result in a big payoff for you
if it works.

If I were in Russia or wherever you are, I'd probably give it a try too.
Law enforcement in those kinds of countries is pathetic. Unfortunately I
make my money from legal hacking these days.

If you really possess the skills (and balls) to pull off what you claim,
and you willing to accept the possibility of prison time, I take my hat
off to you. Good luck. (If you're out their to run off with 5% of people's
money though, you'll have pissed off a lot of people who might just pay
another list member to track YOU down.)
