Now, let's say you are planning to open an agency rather than an actual bank. Instead of laying a trap for you, as I normally would, sicko that I am, I'll outright say that you'd be between a rock and a hard place. Thailand has foreign remittance controls in place. I have troubles to get my Thai customers to send money for hosting overseas, let alone for e-gold purchases. Also, it is illegal for Thai nationals to hold foreign accounts... Let's leave it at that. Maybe you were actually dealing with Thai partners who are planning to rip you off. But take it from me, if you are doing the type of busines you are claiming to do in Thailand, then you are looking for trouble.
