Patrick,
Don't say you are saying that they need "A CLEARING PLATFORM / SYSTEM" ???
Which would be the exact thing I said when they first CBourse first
announced the begin of trading.

Gosh, don't know about them fancy terms, I'm just talking about a web form and a stinkin' link to the e-gold (or 1mdc) spend page. Then their server validates the payment hash and credits your account.

Is that a clearing platform / system? Then by golly, you're right! And why I am I not surprised? Robert S. Z. is quite a brilliant fellow, and I don't mean that sarcastically.

At the time most supporters were rather unhappy about my remark...

I wasn't unhappy, I just didn't understand. Now I do. Although I fear I'm being flippant and there's a lot more to it I don't know. :-( But until then, yeah, a web form and a link to e-gold (or 1mdc) spend page would be great!

Of course, there also needs to be a way to remove residual unspent funds from a dbourse account back to e-gold (or 1mdc). You know, like if I had 100 g in there and then bought JP's 99g share, an automated way to pick up my 1g in change.

It sure feels good to be right.

So that's what this "clearing" thing is all about then!

It sure feels good to have a fancy new term for such a prosaic function. I thought "clearing" was some strange NYSE-style magic that had to happen at precisely 16:45 ET each day to "settle accounts" or some primitive dinosauric style thing like that.
