Hello everyone -- first of all I want to let you know that an update to
the atm card comparison chart will be out soon.

I will be lowering the reputation number for cashcards.net to the lowest
possible number for the following reasons:

1) A free card was offered to me for evaluation. It never arrived. Only
after I sent a reminder (3 weeks later) did it finally show up.

2) The website is practically useless. When you are actually able to
connect to it, it is confusing and does not provide you with the most
basic instructions that you need to navigate the system.

3) It is never mentioned that cashcards requires a US$10 minimum account
of V-cash be maintained at all times, until you have actually put money
into the system (with the claimed 100,000+ customers, that's over a
million dollars to sit on).

4) I funded my V-cash account from e-gold without any problem. The balance
was properly displayed and fees taken out accordingly. However,

5) I attempted to load my ATM card from the V-cash account. The money was
deducted from my V-cash balance, but it has never appeared on my ATM card.

6) Attempts to check the ATM balance online through the cashcard's website
failed for several days (requests simply "time out").

7) When the ATM balance check finally went through, it showed an ATM
balance of $0 -- the money I had transerred to it simply disappeared!

8) I wrote a polite letter of inquiry to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
received absolutely no response.

9) I wrote a frustrated letter of inquiry to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
received absolutely no response.

10) I write an angry letter of inquiry to cashcards.net and received
absolutely no response.

11) My money is gone, the ATM card doesn't work, and inquiries are going
100% unanswered.

The most ridiculous thing about this is that cashcards knew full well that
I was going to evaluate their card and their service and make note of it
on the card comparison chart. This is the equivelent of inviting a
restraunt critic for a free meal and then never sending a waiter to their
table.

I have been reading for ***months and months*** that cashcards is
"overloaded." I have received several e-mails from people who are very,
very unhappy with cashcard's service.

The "overloaded" excuse simply will not fly with me. cashcards seems to
have plenty of business and ought to be generating enough revenue that,
over the course of several months, they could have imporved their customer
service.

Blackholing legitimate requests for support is simply and truly
unacceptable. I will be trying to find another company to provide these
services.

Steve - I really don't care what lame excuses you might come up with. Even
if you were hit by a truck or something, you should have set up your
business with a customer service department to handle people whose MONEY
HAS COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED FROM YOUR SYSTEM. I have been told repeatedly
that cashcards was a reputable firm, but my experience has been that it is
either a completely incompetent business or a complete scam.

I would like my money back. All of it. But I'm not going to waste any more
time or keystrokes on cashcards.net, and my suggestion to others is to
avoid the problems, and avoid cashcards.net.
