Dear JP,

Life begins with three commas :)

I think that's delightful. It should be your .sig for a while.

Can you please tell me again how to best translate
"vi et animo" big Jim?

"With force and intention."

"Vi" is force.
"et" is and.
"animo" is intention.

So, depending on how it shows up in context, something
like "intentional use of force." In other words, a
deliberate act involving force.

Contrast with an act which was negligent or inadvertent,
accidental. Animo gives it intention. Contrast with
a deliberate act which isn't forceful, like a kiss.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Jim
