I've found what the problem is. THIS IS THE PROBLEM: WHEN I DO THIS CURL STATEMENT AT THE TELNET PROMPT:
curl https://that.secure.server.com I GET THIS ERROR: curl: (1) libcurl was built with SSL disabled, https: not supported!
