On a EXL710QDA2G1P5 card, after upgrading the NVM to 6.01 and driver to
2.1.26 on kernel 4.10, we get "Rx/Tx is disabled on this device because an
unsupported SFP+ module type was detected."

This is a unlocked card, and when reverting to the default kernel driver in
4.10, or using the 2.0.30 driver, this problem goes away, but so does
support for get_module_eeprom which was our reason for upgrading.

Is this an intentional change?
