The code for adding VLAN 0 is currently not planned to be included in any driver. I believe this was added to the kernel some time ago. You might try pulling the latest kernel from kernel.org to test and verify this. As for the code that fixes the hang when VLAN 0 is added that should be included in the next release. I don't have an ETA on it, but it will likely be in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
