Wonderful news. The 82599 was supposed to read 82579V, I've spent too
much time with Intel product names today. ;) Sorry for the confusion.

I hardly dare to ask if there's a rough ETA.

How would I notice when it's available - is there a public repo or git
branch to track the progress?


Meanwhile, I'll shop for some more 82574. ;)
