Hello Ben,

We've created a sample driver that disables the FCS stripping and *were* able 
to see the FCS in the packet.  We disabled this in the rx_init and I can send 
you a source.tar if you're interested.  We didn't test it with your patches 
though, just the regular driver seeing if disabling the FCS stripping caused it 
to show in the packet.  We saw it with Wireshark.  We also have an internal 
customer test team is working to try and repro the problem with that driver in 
their environment as well, but I wanted to give you a heads up that we did see 
that FCS with 82580.  

I think the patches are not all accepted/available yet upstream.  If you want 
to package up the whole latest set and send them to me privately, we can take a 
look at that as well.
