If I were to submit a patch for get/set_link_ksettings, would I do it
against the latest ixgbe driver in the mainline kernel, or against the
latest release here on sourceforge?
Without the get/set_link_ksettings, there is no support for changing the
advertising of 2.5/5G support with ethtool that I can find (or for forcing
speed for that matter, but that doesn't require the new API as far as I can
tell).
