I think the folks at SAP do changes in Search, so I wouldn't say it's dead.
Dani, probably you guys would want to look into this.
Lars, could you elaborate further? Is it not installable on 4.2.2? This
is very surprising, search's requirements are very scarce (0.0.0 of
platform bundles and jface), AFAIK.

We are wrapping up 0.13 (it's a checkpoint, since this is an
incubator project) and moving to 0.14.
0.13 should compile and install with 4.2.2, now released.
0.14 will start making changes to support the Kepler model and
consume new APIs.
I've disabled e4 builds in the meantime. Please test this build,
as this is our candidate for promotion.
