Using eclipse 4.2.2 classic
Version: 4.2.2
Build id: M20130204-1200
and the following location
http://download.eclipse.org/e4/downloads/drops/I20130228-2200/repository
, i successfully installed and launched Search. My environment is win64
(I had to deselect the tests feature since it requires jmock and does
not install succesfully on a clean install, but that has always been the
case since contributing search to eclipse.)
I can also confirm the framework works as expected. The example
contrubutor which searches in cheatsheets is for some reason broken,
I'll open a bug for that.
So I think this build is good for Search.

I think the folks at SAP do changes in Search, so I wouldn't say
it's dead.
Dani, probably you guys would want to look into this.
Lars, could you elaborate further? Is it not installable on 4.2.2?
This is very surprising, search's requirements are very scarce
(0.0.0 of platform bundles and jface), AFAIK.

-Builds for 4.2 and 4.3 e4 tools
We are wrapping up 0.13 (it's a checkpoint, since this is an
incubator project) and moving to 0.14.
0.13 should compile and install with 4.2.2, now released.
0.14 will start making changes to support the Kepler model
and consume new APIs.
I've disabled e4 builds in the meantime. Please test this
build, as this is our candidate for promotion.

You can provide feedback on the list, and if I haven't heard
anything negative I'll promote the build Thursday morning.
