I just pushed up some fixes to allow CSS snippets like the following to change
part icons and tooltips:
Part#org-eclipse-jdt-ui-JavadocView {
icon:
url(platform:/plugin/org.eclipse.ui/icons/full/elcl16/backward_nav.png);
wm-tooltip: “Javadoc for the currently selected element“;
}
Since the part tags are surfaced as CSS classes too, and the 3.x compat layer
exposes the editor type as a tag, you can target editor types with:
Part[class~=‘org.eclipse.pde.ui.manifestEditor’] { icon: ...; }
