I get that with both 2.4.29 and 2.4.30 (and even 2.6.10).

I first tried that and it didn't work, but then I thought the modem
could somehow remember a previously set option (commenting the option
doesn't reset the value, does it?). So I did as much of a cold start
as I could (unplugged both line and USB), and rebooted -- Yay! It
works! I'm still confused as to how it could have worked before, but
I'm not touching anything anymore :-)

I'll calmy wait for MCO and/or Migus to upload 2.3.1 now, and
refrain from doing any further kernel updates :-)

  Thanks a lot!

Roland,
0 Bad CRC so far.
