I confirm, it's a RedHat patch, 2 in fact :
- ppp-2.4.2-change_resolv_conf.patch (network-scripts/network-function)
- ppp-2.4.2-dontwriteetc.patch (pathnames.c)
In my first post in this list (5/12/2004) i've put a patch for this.
It works fine for me (i'm running a eagle-usb-2.0.0 patched version of
the driver).
