If we don't use eagle-usb.conf.template, the configuration would be lost after a "make install". I know rpm (urpmi?) is renaming config files in name.rpmnew, but it gives the user 3 possibilities: - keep it's old config file (may lead to problems) - use new config file (the user has to restart it's config from scratch) - use some kind of diffs :-/ The current system is better : eagleconfig reads maximum infos from the old eagle-usb.conf, replace it with the clean eagle-usb.conf.template, and write parameters into it. _____ Tux
