you could not do "make uninstall", but that's not really compulsory... 
as long as the rmmod works without freezing : a "make install" will overwrite 
the previous driver (on disk only as it's still loaded in memory...)
so next boot should take into account the newer version.

autogen.output is ok (that's a problem outside eagle-usb with autoconf for 
other packages)
your makeuninstall file shows only a restart ? (and contains data so
gedit cannot open it : cat works...)
