Hi,
new version including latest BNM
http://baud123.free.fr/eagle-usb/eagle-usb-2.0.0/eagle-usb-2.0.0_20041026_snapshot.tar.bz2
- CMV files are not (yet) copied automatically.
- still uses (by default) eagle-usb.conf...
- for testing (regression mostly on "older" modems...)
=> works for me, fast800E3, no reproducible Oops on Mdk10.1
kernel-2.6.8.1-12mdk

Are the proposals, made before for implementation of CMV, correct (last
suggestion by Gesp) ?

Here's a proposed plan for release (after testing/corrections) :
release 1- 2nd November (evening) 2.0.0 official release with BNM from
2.0.31 sagem driver => works for all modems and in all countries with
same parameters (to be confirmed ?)
release 2- for EagleIII / Sagem Fast 800 E3 to work : just replace BNM
(or dsp_code*.bin) and configure appropriate CMV file, documentation and
files to publish on web (better organization to find)

Possibilities
release 1. if CMV can work flawlessly, implement it (with only one file
or more if possible) and publish the change (no more configure
--enable-cmvs needed). Keep 2.0.31 BNM though as they are necessary for
Fast 800 E2T and do not require CMV by country (am I right ?)...

release 2. that would be a 2.0.0E3 eventually and the 2.0.1 would
implement new changes (or 2.1.0 or 2.9.0 ?) the problem is to maintain 2
versions (which I want to keep as short as possible as it's difficult
for the user to understand). But CMV management is currently not handled
by Mandrake 10.1 (blino / Thierry ? What do you think ?)

Any other suggestion ?
Testing can be done to eradicate remaining Oops till 1st November (well
the sooner, the better...).
