Making a UI fit on a small screen is easy with Swing in most cases. The
three windows I pointed out all have large resizable controls like text
fields and lists, so it should be easy to make them fit on a smaller screen.

Right now, I classify it as a bug. Either it should work correctly at
800x600 or the program and the web site should tell you that it's not going
to work at 800x600.

My plan was to replace my old PC laptop with a nice new Mac laptop, but
after reading the JDK 1.4 thread, I'm starting to think about waiting a
while longer.
