stupid me.
I seem to have disabled PopupHints in the Statusbar and haven't noticed
it, 'cause I never use that feature, so it's my fault.
btw, why does disabling PopupHints also disable alt-enter? wouldn't it be
possible to not display the hints, but react on alt-enter nevertheless?
