I have to agree with that point. I would not participate as much if the information was not _coming to me_. If I have to _go get it_ I will frequently forget about it. The full message folder is like a nagging reminder to stay on top of what is happening in the IDEA world. Otherwise I wouldn't make the time to keep up with the latest features, thus not increasing my perceived value of IDEA. Of course, maybe JetBrains is getting _too much_ feedback and they want to reduce the participation...in which case this is a great idea (no pun intended)!
