Yes, I'd really appreciate this too. Currently, it's a pain to work with ".jj" files. I usually use TextPad to do it and have as little Java code (in terms of sematic actions) in there as possible. I usually do this by having the production methods delegate the real work to abstract methods. I then have a subclass that actually implements these methods so I can work on this one in IDEA since it's a regular Java class. It's works well for me. Ooops, sorry for the OT.
