+1 I'd like to see the search criteria in the results pane *regardless* of whether something was found. Perhaps the pane's title bar (after "Find - Search result") would be a good place?
Also, i noticed that i can right-click and "exclude" search results. What does that do for me? (for normal searches, that is. I understand its use for renames and such). Re-running the search appears to disregard exclusions, as does the export to text file feature (which i LOVE!). thanks! chris > -----Original Message----- > From: Vollmer, Thomas - CannonSA [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2001 5:33 PM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > Subject: [Eap-features] "Find - Search result" doesn't show > what's been > searched for when nothing has been found > > > It would be nice if "Find - Search result" would show what's been > searched for when nothing has been found. > > Unless I'm missing something, there is currently no way of > seeing that. > This is especially inconvenient since we have the "Rerun > search" button > now because I now tend to leave the search tabs open more often to be > able to rerun the search more easily. > > Thanks! > -Thomas > _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
